• Opinions expressed within posts are those of the poster and are not the views of Talkfreebies or its owners. You rely on such information at your own risk and are urged to seek professional advice for specific and/or individual situations and not rely solely on advice or opinions given in the discussions.
• We reserve the right to remove, modify or move posts at our discretion and without explanation.

Service Terms:
These rules apply to all Forum categories.

• We do not tolerate rudeness, flaming or trolls. Any member who is intentionally unpleasant or disruptive may be banned without warning.
• Your account is yours alone. You are responsible for any activity created with it. You may not share your account login with anyone. If you choose to ignore this your account and any accounts associated with it may be banned.
• You agree not to provide inaccurate, misleading or false information to Talkfreebies or to any other user.
• All publicly displayed messages are limited to the English language. This includes posts, titles, signatures, and any attachments or other forms of public display.
• Posts made entirely in CAPITAL LETTERS will be removed.
• Signature Spam (a post that was made in hopes of showing a signature) is forbidden in all forum categories.
• You may not post advertising, commission, referral or affiliate links anywhere on the forum. You may not link to sites whose main income is derived from affiliate or referral links.
• Posting the same message more than once is not allowed. Pick the one forum that best suits the subject of your post.
• You may not post on behalf of any banned member in any public manner. This includes all forums, private messages, signatures, and e-mail features.
• You may not post words or URLs that are censored by adding spaces, dots, or substituting characters; or by any other means in an attempt to defeat any censors put in place by Talkfreebies. Please contact us if you feel a word or URL is unjustly censored.
• You may not link, in any manner, to sites or images containing pornography, sexually explicit, gross violence, or are determined by moderators to be detrimental to the community.
• You must make ten (10) posts before posting URL's*. If you choose to make meaningless posts to avoid this restriction your account will be banned.
• You must make five (5) posts before using the PM and system e-mail features or viewing member profile information. If you choose to make meaningless posts to overcome this restriction, your account will be banned.
• Any posts that encourage illegal intent will be removed and your account banned.
• Public posts debating these rules and/or moderators' enforcement of such, will be removed without comment. We encourage feedback but request that you use the 'Contact Us' link below if you have any questions or concerns.
• Some forum categories have a "minimum post count" and/or "minimum length of membership" restriction before a member is allowed to start a new thread. Please read the Forum Description and the Announcement within if you get a permissions error while trying to start a thread. If you choose to make meaningless posts to overcome this restriction, your account will be banned.
• You hereby grant Talkfreebies.com an irrevocable, perpetual, universal, and non-exclusive right to delete, copy, modify, alter, display or otherwise transmit any content that you provide to Talkfreebies.
• By providing content, you represent that said contents is not restricted by copyright, or that you have permission from the copyright owner to submit the content to Talkfreebies.

YOU EXPRESSLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT TALKFREEBIES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES (EVEN IF TALKFREEBIES HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES), RESULTING FROM: (i) THE USE OR THE INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE; (ii) THE COST OF PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS AND SERVICES RESULTING FROM ANY GOODS, DATA; (iii) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR DATA; (iv) STATEMENTS OR CONDUCT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE; OR (v) ANY OTHER MATTER RELATING TO THE SERVICE.

* If you represent a company or charity as a professional spokesman and wish to link to your website you must contact the forum administrator using the 'Contact Us' link at the bottom of the page before attempting any posts (for the majority this is common sense / polite but unfortunately there is always a minority that will try and get around our SPAM filter). Ignoring this rule will be taken as attempted SPAM.

Signature Rules:
Rules to stop signatures from taking over the forum.

• Signatures are available to members with 5 posts or more.
• Please keep your signature within 600 x 300 pixels (enough for 4 tickers on top of each other).
• No links to commercial websites, auctions/eshop†, forums, referral or affiliate links, unauthorised third party freebie & deal resources.

Donators & Contributors get VIP privileges. These rules are displayed on the Donators page.
† Active members with over 50 posts can post a link to their personal auctions/eshops in Buy, Swap, Sell & Wanted.

• Talkfreebies reserves the right to modify and amend these terms and/or privacy policy at any time without notice. While we will do our utmost in informing you of any major changes it would be prudent to review this regularly yourself as your continued usage of Talkfreebies.com after changes mean you agree to be legally bound by these terms as they are updated and/or amended.
• If any term or provision of these Terms and Conditions is held invalid, illegal or unenforceable for any reason by any court of competent jurisdiction such provision shall be severed and the remainder of the provisions hereof shall continue in full force and effect as if these Terms and Conditions had been agreed with the invalid, illegal or unenforceable provision eliminated.

• Talkfreebies will take all reasonable effort to ensure that all personal information about you submitted is maintained secure on our server. However, we make no warranty to this.
• This site is intended for individuals over the age of 13. Any information collected is intended to be of individuals over the age of 13. According to COPPA, our site does NOT cater to children. "Operators of commercial websites or online services directed to children under 13 that collect personal information from children" require a COPPA agreement and privacy policy. Since we do not cater to this age group, no COPPA exists on Talkfreebies.

We will not release any member information unless under court order to do so. We reserve the right to nullify this clause in the case of members that choose to ignore the above forum rules (as determined by a forum administrator).
