Has anyone tried making something like a calandar? I was thinking of maybe doing one with pics of the LO for the grandparents. Not sure if it's a bit of a cheesey idea though or where to look!

I thought of that one too, but like you wasn't sure about the cheese factor. Vistaprint are doing a 3 for price of 1 on desk calendars at the mo too, so you'd get one for each set of grandparents and a spare!

I got some lovely magnets as birth announcements from Vistaprint - make sure you use a spam email account though as they send so much rubbish once they've got your add.! Also beware of added charges (for things like uploading a photo and editing it even if you haven't...!!!)

See the trick is to upload pics when creating a calendar or something as it's free, then scrap the calendar and all your uploads get kept and you can use "previously uploaded images" for no charge with other products.

What a lovely idea, wish I could do that - I tried once and had loads of triangles all sewn up then didn't get any further. Will add it to my list of things to do!

I use squares, sew 4 together, then use a rotary cutter to create the triangles. I find it easier to create patterns that way
I'm making a square and rectangle themed one this time though. will see if I can find a sample pic....
