What are you terrified of?

just being nosey and wondered what are you terrified of ?

there is good reason for this i had a very bad experiance last night with something i have a real phobia of a flippin rat!!

i am looking after a neighbours house down the street she had gone for a couple of days i was looking after her animals chickens and chipmunks which are outdoors in avery type cages

on the first morning my 10 yr old said rat he swore he saw 2 but he always plays this trick on me knowing im scared of them after seeing me run for my life after seeing one last year!!
thought nothing more of it went back later with 16 yr old to water garden he was looking at the animals at the end of the garden when i had finished i walked towards him ,there are built up planters for her vegatables near the cages as i got close i heard a shrill squeel type noise turned to my right and saw a blimmin rat cornered baring teeth and ready to kill me i didnt hang around i ran for my life screaming rat
when i was at the back door hyper ventalating saw the rat go towards him he just stood there and wasnt bothered!!! i was going crazy shouting run he just laughed
i felt really ill i didnt go to the end of the garden today made him feed the animals and i didnt get much sleep last night still terrified thing is in the morning i have to tell her i came close to a damn rat attack lol and try to explain i really didnt mean for the whole neighbourhood to find out she had rats in her garden it was broadcast very loudly as my son keeps telling me

EEk Rats give me the shivers...I have never seen one IRL and hope I never do! We have mice living in our apartment-I used to be terrified of them, but they were around all winter and all spring, so I got used to them-apparently, if there are mice around, it is a positive indication that there are no rats around-thank God for that!

I had a rat and mouse problem last year, they chewed their way into the understairs cupboard, I opened it one day and there were three of them sat on the shelf looking at me

Lots of traps were bought, and in one evening I heard the snap of them going off six times. I hate killing anything, but once they get in the house that becomes a serious health risk.

Oh, and my three cats just stared at me when I implored them to do what cats do and chase them, guess they are too pampered and too used to their food coming out of a satchet

As for fears, I only have one really, and it's kind of odd. It's the third rail some railways and the underground have, the one that carries electricity. I remember waiting for a train once in London and some railworkers were crossing the lines to get to their depot, I was always terrified that one of them would trip, or accidentally stand on the live rail.

I am scared of spider-the big ugly ones-the normal black ones don't usually creep me out, but the gross looking ones make my skin crawl *shivers*

i hate spiders too but not the fear i have of rats spoke today and they have been seen before
i have a rail fear too im always scared of falling between the gap between the platform and train even though its not big enough used to be scared when my kids were small they would fall on the track i think my fear is more trains though than the track

no i missed that have seen people with wierd phobias on programmes before though
